Autism is still a largely unknown topic for many people in Switzerland. As a result, those affected and their families often encounter a lack of understanding. The awareness campaign shows that interpreting other people’s facial expressions, gestures, and emotions can be challenging for people with autism. They have to learn to read facial expressions with great effort — almost as if it were a foreign language.
